Alexandria Miceli

Alexandria Miceli is a partner with Weinberg & Miceli. Her practice focuses on federal and state criminal defense. 

For most of her academic career, Ms. Miceli has had an interest in the law, specifically criminal law. As a high school senior, she spent her seventh hour class period at the LaSalle County courthouse observing courtroom procedures and talking to lawyers from a variety of practice areas.  

Before attending law school, Ms. Miceli graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (UWSP), where she majored in political science and minored in mathematics and coaching. During her four years at UWSP, Ms. Miceli played basketball for the Women’s Basketball team and was named team captain her junior and senior year. Ms. Miceli earned the All-American designation after her senior season.

Ms. Miceli attended DePaul University College of Law from 2016 to 2019. Following her first year, Ms. Miceli was selected to be a member of the Appellate Moot Court Society, where she represented DePaul in three competitions across the country. Ms. Miceli was then elected President of the Appellate Moot Court Society her third year. Ms. Miceli continues to coach and assist current moot court members as they prepare for competitions. 

Ms. Miceli graduated in the top 10 of her class with the distinctions of Summa Cum Laude, Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers. She also received the “CALI Excellence for the Future Award” for having the highest grade in four of her classes during law school: Legal Writing I & II, Constitutional Law, and Criminal Procedure I: Investigation. 

While in law school, Ms. Miceli interned at both the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and Cook County Public Defender’s Office, prior to accepting a position as a law clerk at Weinberg & Miceli and the Law Office of Susan Pavlow. After earning her law degree, Ms. Miceli joined Weinberg & Miceli as an associate attorney. 

Ms. Miceli is a zealous advocate and is passionate about the law and her clients. As a former college athlete, Ms. Miceli is a hard worker who thrives on competition and relishes high-stress situations both in and out of the courtroom.
